It’s a marathon.  A long marathon.

You’ve got to keep writing and writing and writing and planning and planning and planning and networking and networking and networking.

Then you execute, and you get the word out.  And hope that people dig it.

Persistence + patience + preparation.

Over and over and over again.

Who are you as a brand?  What kind of work do you want to put out?  What distinguishes your voice from that of others?  These are the things that you have to know.

Over and over and over again.

Where do you want to be in 3 years?  In 5?  10?  How will you get there?  Others have gone the same route.  How can you make sure that you win?
